Haddon estate

Our portfolio extends to four rivers, each with different characters. Starting with the smallest, The Bradford catches from the hills around Elton, being gritstone country, and runs through a limestone gorge at Middleton-by-Youlgrave. The river has now entered Haddon Estate and is immediately impounded by seven dams. Clear, cold springs, flowing from under the limestone along its length give the Bradford that extra status it fully deserves. From the last dam, until its confluence with the Lathkill, the Bradford takes on a more natural form and is best fished with a 4 weight. We run a small syndicate on the Bradford, with a short length of the River Lathkill around the confluence added on.
